A World War II Living History organization depicting the Spanish Volunteer Division that fought on the Eastern Front.

About Us

Our purpose is purely historical in nature and in no way do we condone or support Nazi or Fascist ideology. We will not tolerate anyone who supports any facet of Nazi ideology; such persons are not welcome.

We are a Living History Organization recreating the 250 Infantry Division of Spanish Volunteers that served on the Eastern Front during World War II. As such, we are the "opposing force" for World War II battle reenactments, both public display and private tacticals. We also provide the general public the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Second World War from the point of view of Axis soldiers, specifically those of the Spanish "Blue Division".

250th with one Nordland NCO

250 Ski Company was orginally formed in 2008 as the Spanish contingent of the 11th SS "Nordland" Division, but have since branched out into a seperate unit although we still maintain close ties with our parent unit.  Our members come from all backgrounds and professions, to include teachers, police officers, prior service and serving military personnel as well as college students and professors.  Among our members, we hold Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Computer Sciences, Education, History, and Political Science.  The one thing that we all share is a love of military history and sciences.

The historical company we portray was a late addition to the Blue Division. Formed in the winter of 1941 to counter Soviet ski-borne infiltrations, the Ski Company quickly evolved into hard-fighting and dependable group of guripas, quickly being regarded as an elite unit within the division.  Technically an infantry company, it's members were drawn from the Pioneer, Artillery, Cavalry, Panzer-jager, and Infantry battalions of the division, giving the company a motley look as their uniforms were piped in the various colors denoting military specialties.  As a result, our recreated company models this appearance as our members wear the piping color of their choice.
